“Son Of A Preacher Man”, which Katey sung for season one of the series is still fresh in my memories like the unforgettable aroma of the glass of a hundred years old wine that I gulped decades back. I am pretty sure that you too have a similar reverence for her effort.
Katey says that her husband is a fan of her vocal talent, and he makes it a point to use the same for every new season of Sons of Anarchy. Now, that’s is what we call a pair, who is not addicted to the relationship-tarring feeling of excessive self-pride and gives utmost opportunity to the each other’s talent to hog the limelight.
When an interviewer asked Katey that whether being in the company of her husband at all times during the shoots seems like an over dosage of him, she replied that although they are on the same place at the same time, they have different jobs to look after.
She adds that having three kids at home to look after ensures that they have other things to talk about besides themselves and she thanks the Almighty for the same.
Being a single at the moment, I strongly hope that I get blessed with a husband like Kurt, who respects her better half for what she is and opens a world of opportunities for her to make good use of her inherent talent.
